SPAWNERS hosts talks by local naturalists, including wildlife professionals, environmental educators, rangers, native plants experts, and local historians. Our Watershed Talks take place on the first Tuesday of October, February, and April, from 7:00-9:00 pm at the El Sobrante Library’s Community Meeting room, 4191 Appian Way in El Sobrante. All are welcome, and SPAWNERS provides refreshments.
Tuesday, February 6, 7-9pm: Venerated naturalist Jim (Doc) Hale will speak on Native American Ethnobiology.
Tuesday, April 3, 7-9pm: Jonathan Price, Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist for the East Bay Municipal Utilities District, will speak on nesting birds.
