In the Land of My Ancestors

Join SPAWNERS for this special presentation of In the Land of My Ancestors, a documentary short that celebrates the living legacy and generosity of Ohlone elder, Ann Marie Sayers. The film shines the light on how Sayers has offered her traditional land, the Indian Canyon, to all Native people who don’t have traditional lands for ceremonies.

Meet at the Elks Lodge meeting room, 3931 San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante. Look for the SPAWNERS sign at the driveway, and enter in the side door.

3rd Saturday Volunteer Work Parties

People with all levels of experience are welcome. Please wear sturdy shoes, comfortable work clothes, and bring a water bottle. SPAWNERS will provide tools, gloves, and snacks.
